FYI the Debian-Perl group has taken over packaging of Marpa::R2, c.f. their repository <http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-perl/packages/libmarpa-r2-perl.git;a=summary> that is adressing the (debian naming for such thing) this Package Request Bug Report <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=748484>.
This mean that Marpa::R2, when their package will be ok (I refer to this mail <http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-perl-maintainers/2014-June/077945.html> for example) will hit a miriad of computer on various architectures via various distributions (Ubuntu in particular).
