Jeffrey, I was reading the debian build-log on the s390 architecture <https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libmarpa-r2-perl&arch=s390x&ver=2.084000~dfsg-1&stamp=1401473766> - puzzling -; gcc complains about truncations and there are strange segfaults.
