Hi guys,
It would be really nice if you could keep the older versions of the
mart data around for maybe even a day or two after you do a data
release? It's a bit annoying to have something that works the day
you write it then you come in the next morning and it's all broken
because release 36 has vanished.
Hi Tom,
if you are talking about rdbms access then ensembl public rdbms
server indeed vanished this morning with all release not just 36.
Hopefully
the system guys will bounce the server soon.
No, I was talking about the service interface but it appears this
might be an issue with the build of our code, will dig into it
further. Has anything changed behind the service since yesterday? If
someone could check that it's working this would save me a headache as
I'm fairly sure nothing's changed in our code that should break
anything.
Nothing has changed apart from the fact that the ensembl db behind the
service is down, so the ensembl part of service is currently not
working
(this of course affects web service as well). Hopefully ensembl guys
will restore it soon
a.
Tom
