Dear Mart developers,

would it be possible to make the next version (that would be 0.5, wouldn't it?) of MartJ Java 1.5 compatible? The reason why I'm asking this is we're developing an AJAX frontend (NextApp's Echo2 that is) for our internal warehouses and our code is written in Java 1.5. So far we had a quick hack to read the mart-configuration from the database, but now want to be more compatible with future MartJ developments, hence want to change to use the package org.ensembl.mart.lib.config instead of our own config-reader. The only obstacle seems to be the Enumeration variables called "enum", which is a reserved keyword in Java 1.5. I fixed it in my local check-out of MartJ 0.4, but it would be nice if I won't need to do that for version 0.5.

Cheers
 Kai

Real cats don't need names.
But they often get called them.
"Yaargeroffoutofityarbastard" does nicely.
