I have submitted 3 jobs. first one is 12 hours ago (human gene) and other 2 jobs
was submitted 10 hours ago (human and mouse genes).

PS. I had a look on the server and there were no background jobs
submitted between 10:39 this morning and 13:31 this afternoon. Are you
sure you submitted your job 2 hours ago? The only ones I can find
submitted today that contain attributes similar to what you describe
were submitted at 13:31 (mouse genes) and 13:35 (human genes), and both
are still running.

cheers,
Richard

How long a query takes is like asking how long is a piece of string...
ie. there is no real answer to the question, it depends entirely on each
individual query! :)

You will get a notification, eventually, either saying your results are
ready, or that the query has failed (including the reason).

Hello Richard,

I sent query two hours ago, no notification came.
usually how long does it takes?

Quoting Richard Holland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

OK. Arek's suggestion of doing the query as a compressed web file with
email notification would be a good one.

How long did your query run for before stopping? There is a one-hour
limit to queries at the moment so any query that runs for more than one
hour (or has an internal component that runs for more than one hour)
will either fail or give truncated results, depending on the output
method you choose. We're working on ways of raising that limit but for
now it is still in place.

Richard

When did you do these downloads? A few weeks ago we did have problems
with truncated downloads, but these should now have been fixed. Have you
tried again recently?

hello richard,

thank you very much for your advice.

I have another problem. I want to download homo sapiens genes from
ensembl, the head information as below:

Chromosome
Ensembl Gene ID
cDNA sequences
Start Position (bp)
End Position (bp)
5 UTR Start (Chr bp)
5 UTR End (Chr bp)
3 UTR Start (Chr bp)
3 UTR End (Chr bp)
Ensembl CDS length
Exon Start (Chr bp)
Exon End (Chr bp)

I download many many times, every time download was broken without
finishing.
some times it was broken at 3M datasize, sometime it was broken at 2M
size.
could you tell me how I can get this data?
thanks a lot
