Louis Proyect admitted a few months ago on his marxism list at panix that
he had made the allegation that Bob was a policy spy without any substatial
evidence.
The trouble is that Jerry's ironical remarks about behaving a Romulan
war-bird do not help to isolate arbitary and damaging criticism.
If Jerry were to bite his tongue so he could not be accused of personal
spleen, and would contribute some of his knowledge to PEN-L without
demanding the moderator expel the other individual, that would be of some
help. Otherwise no doubt, it is Jerry's prerogative to fold himself up
inside his coat.
