Today, January 12, is the five year anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti. I have co-authored an article published today in Truthout which looks at what five years of the aid and charity industry has accomplished, or not, for Haiti. The article also examines the all-important, ongoing UN Security Council military/police occupation regime in Haiti, known as MINUSTAH.
