I am sure that some religious figures were not happy to be put on the spot by
Jeff Sessions’ use of the Bible to justify family separation.
They have a constituency not only at home, but many have missionaries overseas.
I wonder what conversations those missionaries are having in the countries
where they are active.
I was raised in a fundamentalist church, The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
I can still sing Jesus Loves the Little Children.
Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world
The use of these words might not be well received from me, as I long ago
rejected my religious training.
You might decide that they are useful in your work.
