The Forbes article criticizing the HBO series "Chernobyl" was written by Michael Shellenberger. He was one of the two founders of the Breakthrough Institute, which Monthly Review accurately described as “the leading big money, anti-green, pro-nuclear think tank in the United States, dedicated to propagandizing capitalist technological-investment ‘solutions’ to climate change.” He is a co-author of the "Ecomodernist Manifesto" and of "The Death of Environmentalism." He left Breakthrough in 2016 to work full-time as a publicist for and promoter of the nuclear industry. So it really isn't surprising that he doesn't like the show, or that Forbes, which has proudly labelled itself "capitalist tool," would publish it.
