What utter nonsense. What's clear to me is not only does this dilettante's glorification of the misery of hunter-gather societies representing a total falsification of the anthropological evidence he simply is ignorant of what agriculture is and how it was practiced and what the *actual* problems were with early agriculture (and practiced to this day). There ARE problems with agriculture from the very beginning but Diamond misses the entire point. Yuck.
