Wait a minute-- I never said the ISO opposes the occupations. I have said nothing about the ISO or any other group, or the occupations themselves, because I know next to nothing about the actual events. I forwarded a post an a friend in California sent me in order to find out what others who participated think. The author of the post who was involved in the occupation made the claims about the other groups, and I actually considered editing them out, but decided not to. My mistake to not include the disclaimer that the view expressed in the post are not mine and are not endorsed, supported, refuted, criticized, or rejected by me. I generally do a pretty good job of getting facts straight, and if the views in that piece were mine, I would have checked and double-checked to make sure they were correct. As it was, as I said, I forwarded it only to get others' take on it. I have no problem talking to you or anyone, but let's get straight who is saying what. So if you want to talk, feel free to contact me. Let me know if you would rather do it by phone, or in person, or whatever. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Todd Chretien" <[email protected]> To: "David Schanoes" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 01, 2009 12:09 PM Subject: [Marxism] ISO and CA budget cuts > ====================================================================== > Rule #1: YOU MUST clip all extraneous text when replying to a message. > ====================================================================== > > > Dear Marxmail List Members, > > Please see www.SocialistWorker.org to get a sense of the movement > against cuts in education in California. > > I would suggest that the person (sartesian) who says the ISO opposes > occupations is either badly misinformed, > or is, as he/she says of themselves in their own post, a sectarian > whose dislike of ISO comrades > is blinding him/her to the facts. > > So, for the record, the ISO does not oppose occupations.
