Go to be entertained and you won't be disappointed. Go for some other
reason and you may or may not be disappointed.
I can't recall the last time I called a mainstream Hollywood film amazing
fun or fantastic entertainment but to me Avatar certainly was.
Maybe I'm mellowing with age?

I have been cussing weakened body and what passes for a mind, having read
far to many reviews and reviews of the reviews. I never look for political
direction in movies, only comic books. :-)

I have always loved all that heroic stuff; Gods and great battles against
evil, failure, defeat and redemption, and then getting the girl, or as it
is, the one that appears as the "one," is just wonderfulness.

Hey, I was one of a dozen people in America that laughed at Eddie Murphy's
"Adventure of Pluto Nash." A film critic I am not.

However, fun is a material category for me.
