After the last numbers on Palin and the persistent whinging of her witless admirers, I'm beginning to see an upside for a future in the hands of a US president who didn't know that North and South Korea were different countries. Her presidency would certainly clinch the end to any particular moral authority the US might have among the other capitalist powers. Even the British and Canadians may decide to stop being enablers for US ventures abroad. Then, too, Palin is such an arrogant authoritarian, that forcing the permanent executive branch to deal with her presidency might be just what the US needs to deflate or implode its imperial presidency.
