This is of course a great idea.

My next comment is that sound is an exact science - got to get it right
especially for those of us who are fast entering the world of the very hard
of hearing.

But also one needs to recall that the "talking heads"  phenomenon is the
curse of documentary film making.  Think making a film rather than recording
a talk. In the long run it will be a lot more valuable.  Though of course
the act of recording the talk is part of the process of gathering material
to make the film. Just don't stop there.

Form a partnership with some film students.  New York must have thousands of
them.
