Hi Gary, So its a hung parliament after all. As I write, the warmongering Labour Party over the past 13 years has got 252 seats so far and Conservatives 294. You can add about another 9 for the Ulster Unionists etc who will back the Tories. The Lb Dems have not done as well as expected after that first debate and are on a loss of 5 seats at 52 just now. The BNP beat the 3 'Socialist' lefty parties in Glasgow North East like they did last time with the BNP getting 798 votes to TUSC - 187, SSP, 179 and SLP with 156 = 522 for lefty social democrats. S0 the BNP beat the combined left by 276 which is more votes than any of them polled. Labour won with nearly a 16,000 majority in Glasgow North East. This is the constituency of the Red Road flats and Sighthill (suicide of 3 Russian asylum seekers recently), many asylum seekers (murder of Firsat Dagg in 2001) and one of the most impoverished in Britain.
