Sorry, Gary. I did get out of the wrong side of the bed around 1980 and have been a tad grumpy since. :-) My cautions are aimed at having any high expectations for the young intellectuals, as a group...as Left tended to have when it saw the generation metriculating through the university that, in the end, had all the intellectual strength and moral backbone as to bring forth Bill Clinton and Dubya. Guess I'm just suspicious as well of any generational understanding of these things.
