Dear Louis, I recently added myself to this list serve because I am a Marxist. I understand that it is a moderated list serve and the main page states that it takes a "non-sectarian and non-dogmatic approach. It puts a premium on independent thought and rigorous but civil debate." I wish to abide by the rules of the list serve. I have been civil and I have attempted to be rigorous and independent in my thought. Furthermore, I am in no way dogmatic about my statements: I would look forward very much to have a civil and rigorous debate about the decision of the Workers League to launch Security and the Fourth International and its findings. Thus, I am left with the conclusion that you believe that I am somehow being sectarian. If so, I would like to know how my comments can be considered as such and if individuals on this list serve are not allowed to refer to or discuss any political tendencies because this may be construed as sectarian? Besides, when engaging in rigorous and civil debate, it is nice to hear a response other than one's statement is "vomit." I might understand your reaction if I were coming from a non-Marxist perspective, but the International Committee of the Fourth International, whose history I am discussing and is the publisher of the WSWS, is a Marxist organization. In my opinion, your response reeks of both dogmatism and sectarianism. Thank you for clarifying the guidelines of this list serve.
