NOT SO FAST --- it requires the "traditional" Republicans to TRULY break from Trumpism --- they may opt for "Trumpism without Trump" --
To truly break from Trumpism, the traditional Republicans have to be willing to truly purge the Cruz-Hawley folks AND all those Representatives --- they have to be WILLING to have three candidates even if the TRUMPISTS win Republican primaries --- The only analogy I can see is when Oliver North won a Senate nomination and a traditional Republican ran against him making sure that Senator Charles Robb (the Democrat) won ....
