Henwood's pushing a pretty good line on the securities markets in this 
interview--not too different from Michael Roberts IMO.  Trevor Noah is IMO 
incredibly intelligent, funny, and likable compared with the US competition, as 
advertised.  Another point in his favor is his relative lack of the frenzied 
needy self-consciousness that most US "comedians" put on in order not to offend 
stupid people.

I haven't had a real laugh from a TV comedian since I outgrew Jonathan Winters 
and Steve Allen.  This was serious at heart but also light-hearted. It puts 
Noah well to the left of the Smothers Brothers.  If more of this could gain an 
audience, it would be a good thing IMO.  It's a real walk on the wild side for 
American TV.
