Here's the operative issue for me and the real grist to chew through: Back in 2016, I had a chat on the phone with Noel Ignatiev and he told me "I think the two of us both realize we are going to need to talk to these people." Ignatiev understood that there's a lot of recruitment still to be done by this insurgent fascistic movement within the Trump base and it would be suicidal for us to refuse to try talking them out of the delusion of grandeur known as whiteness.
