This is not "eloquent reporting" for sure but, on a podcast recently,
Doug Henwood says that research had established that 60% of the "mob"
going into the Capitol on Jan. 6 had been in the US military. What he
said was just that brief so I couldn't tell whether the "research" he
referred to was done on the whole bunch who attended the rally
beforehand, the "mob" itself, or merely those who have been arrested so
far. Also no mention of the methodology used in this research. Most
importantly--how was the sample selected before gathering this or any
other information about the overall crowd???
If you get any details about Henwood's claim, please let me know--and
the marxmail list, too.
