I want to call people's attention (once again) to Louis Proyect's review of the
book in CounterPunch. Lou wrote:

On a number of different levels, John Levin and Earl Silbar’s “ You Say You
Want a Revolution: SDS, PL, and Adventures in Building a Worker-Student
Alliance ( https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0578406543/counterpunchmaga
) ” is a must-read book.

I think the memoirs are really worth reading. (full disclosure: I performed a
few research tasks for the editors, who granted me the exalted title of
Research Director)

Some of the memoirists were involved in, and played significant roles during,
some of the major student strikes of the era (San Francisco State, Harvard).
Others were activists in places that people rarely write about now and didn't
much write about back in the day (Iowa).  The authors were all activists and
for the most part rank and file members of the Progressive Labor Party, or
non-members who were part of the Worker-Student Alliance of SDS.

You can get more info, and check out the blurbs by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, Max
Elbaum, Aaron Leonard, Dan Georgakas and Tom Robbins at Amazon (but do feel
free to buy the book elsewhere)
