I stopped reading this article -- I was astounded by the number of dubious factual assertions and outright errors that it contained. I'll just give one example (I'm too pissed off by this type of shoddy journalism to compile a list.)
According to the article: Judge Irving Kaufman, himself Jewish, began the trial on 6 March 1951, proclaiming, “The evidence will show that the loyalty and alliance of the Rosenbergs … were not to our country, but that it was to communism.” The article claims that the judge (who was certainly in cahoots with the prosecution) opened that the trial by proclaiming that Ethel andJulius Rosenberg were disloyal reds. That sounds much more like a prosecutor's opening statement than anything that even Judge Kaufman would have openly stated.
