Finally got around to seeing Adam Curtis's "Hypernormalization". Less
there than meets the eye. Particularly problematic was a segment close
to the end about the revolt against Assad that was reduced to suicide
bombers versus the dictatorship. Suicide bombers? WTF? Doesn't someone
working for the BBC have aides at his disposal to do fact-checking? This
article about his new six-part series makes him sound really compelling.
I'll take a pass.
