Of course not. But the article does reflect the liberal left's growing
estrangement from forced assimilation in China. Up until now, it has
mostly been Pompeo at all taking up the cause of the Uighurs. In fact,
it has been the radical CounterPunch that has been in the forefront
defending a colonized people.
