Hi Mark, there are actually histories of the early MIA on the MIA itself though I don't know where they are at the moment. Brian and I spent hundreds of not thousands of hours a piece doing scanning of the MIA along with a few others that came on board later in the project. We started, It think, in 1997 and dedicated ourselves to the project for a few straight year. We still build other archives, like Brian was interested in the Cuban Missile Crisis so he built that, I had responsibilities for Trotsky and a few others. Andy Blunden did Hegal and Marx/Engels and so on with other volunteers and languages.
