This of course just further illustrates the intellectual dishonesty of the mainstream media. If one defines antisemitism as including anti-Zionism, then by definition, leading US universities are seeing a "tide of rising antisemitism." So the fact that many of the participants and leaders of the campus protests are themselves Jews becomes irrelevant, since they are by defintion "antisemitic Jews." Most of the mainstream media are unwilling to question such a tendentious definition of antisemitism. The intellectual dishonesty of the media is simply icing on the cake, as far as university administrations are concerned. Today's university administrators have shown themselves to be as every bit as craven and cowardly as their counterparts of seventy years ago, during the McCarthy era. When the slightest pressure is exerted on these people, either by billionaire donors or by the government, they fold up like cheap accordions. For the time being, the University of Southern California would seem to have set the bottom for sheer cowardice. But no doubt, some other university will find some way to outdo them in that regard.
