John, you approach is very problematic.
As you will have seen, our comrades criticise in their statement the
political approach of Bohdan Syrotyuk who takes a dual-defeatist
position in the Ukraine War. However, at the same time, it is crucial to
oppose the anti-democratic policy of the reactionary Zelensky regime.
Opposing the arrest of progressive oppositional activists - even if we
don't agree with them politically - is an elementary duty of Marxists
and every democrat. This is true for the U.S., for Russia as well as for
the Ukraine (and other countries).
