One movement is being scared up for the Harris campaign, and the other movement is trying to stop the Harris policy that enables a 21st Century Nakba. It is contradictory to work to put a candidate into office who will be solely responsible for the most important thing we are trying to stop. > I earlier posed the question of whether a stance for or against the > pro-capitalist and pro-imperialist Democrats is a tactical or principled > question. I don't think it's a principled question but a practical one. The question is how to pressure a president and party to get outcomes we want. Tail-ending one of their election campaign initiatives isn't pressuring them but relieving them of the pressure to change policy. As a practical matter, it doesn't matter how anyone reading this list personally votes. Our numbers are insignificant and we have no program or political organization with which to intervene. This is an intellectual exercise without consequence. Mark -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
