Hi Chris The Supreme Court (TSJ) did not verify if the votes were counted correctly. Instead it gathered anonymous "experts" to "verify" in secret that the tally sheets handed to them (none of which can be verified to not have been doctored) match the result announce by the CNE and ordered that all the material handed over as part of the hearings now be held by the TSJ, making it even harder to clarify the result.
The best way to verify if the votes were counted correctly would have been to manually count the printed out votes that are deposited at each polling booth by voters to see if they matched the tally sheets presented to the TSJ by the CNE. This they did not do. But it is what the CNE did in 2013 when Capriles cried fraud: they counted 100% of the votes in the presence of witnesses and together with the PSUV making public its tally sheets to show that everything matched. As to the other candidates, it is not just Gonzalez who has questioned the finding. Enrique Marquez, the candidate that the PCV was supporting, has questioned the court findings saying "Venezuela and the world know what happened". And while not rejecting the finding, the AD candidate hardly gave it a ringing endorsement saying that the TSJ findings are "neither approved or disproved, they are obeyed".
