Although big capital is behind both candidates, there is still one big and, in my opinion, most important difference between the two candidates. I think, and maybe I'm wrong, that Marxists from this site are aware that the greatest danger to the fate of humanity is global warming, climate change caused by an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere and as a consequence of capitalist industrial development based on fossil fuels. Likewise, if climate scientists are to be believed, now is the high time to take serious measures to stop this growth, otherwise some measures, if they were delayed, would later no longer have the necessary effect and there would be no chance to stop global warming or keep it within limits favorable to humans. We all know Trump's attitude towards global warming and that he intends to cancel some of the measures already taken. Four years of Trump and the inaction of the state, which should initiate large investment projects that already exist as plans or introduce measures to regulate harmful activities that lead to a further increase in CO2, would be a disaster for the entire world and is in the interest of the working class as well, if they think about the future of their children , future generations, to stop Trump. In the last debate between Trump and Kamala, one minute was devoted to this most important world problem. I did not notice any discussions about that and the danger posed by the election of Trump in relation to global warming. If I missed that, I apologize. Related to this problem, all those candidates from the left in these presidential elections, who are trying to attract votes for themselves, are making a big mistake in the current situation when there is a chance that Trump will be elected.
