Not so long ago I was reading here how the ruling class was in a panic about Trump and that meant there was a real opportunity to ally with "progressive Dems" (oxymoron #1) to roll back the waves of a preemptive counterrevolution that capital has been waging since 1973, inaugurated with OPEC 1 and the overthrow of Allende. Demand more? The entire previous strategy of supporting the "lesser evil" was based on DEMANDING NOTHING for fearing of burning the imaginary bridge that was going to be built and alienating those progressives. What are you going to demand now? Abolition of the US Supreme Court? The Senate? Withdrawing support from Israel? The advocates of the "liberal-left-radical-socialist" alliance have never demanded jack squat of the Dems.
