I would not describe Ocalan as generally "reactionary" though his anti- and philo-semitic tropes certainly do betray a level of ignorance about the subject. I don't know what review of his Sociology of Freedom you read, Abrahim, but I found this one by a "group of leftist educators, scholars, and activists who support the Kurdish-led liberation struggle in Rojava and beyond” balanced and illuminating.
