The Ynet article, while it claims that "The Kurds' strong ties to Israel are well documented", fails to provide any documentation. The claim that "the SDF views Israel as a model" is nonsense.
The Israeli foreign minister claims to have been in contact with Druze and Kurds. I suspect this is disinformation, aimed at stirring up suspicion amongst the rebels towards religious and ethnic minorities.
