I'm one of the women who've subscribed to and read Marxmail for many years, and have learned a lot from some posters, but have rarely posted or responded to a post. This is partly because of the uncomradely way in which some posters continue to write and partly because there are more important uses for my limited writing time.
For my part, I'll just say that it isn't role modeling on the part of one or two other women that would get me to post more than a short line or two once in a blue moon, but the knowledge that it would be of more use than doing other work.
