Hello Tom: OK - that does help me locate far more what you are talking to. In fact you have - I believe anyway - talked of this before. But I will openly confess, it always struck me as being so 'academic' - that it was a deterrent to my trying to understand it properly. And yes, perhaps I simply dismissed it - the easy arrogance of ignorance.
Now, perhaps I can 'locate' the issue you are raising mentally better. Perhaps also because - I am placing it in the mental framework - not so much of this thread - but more into the contemporaneous strand that discussed the possibility of time-cuts to have more workers paid/working for same pay (I believe started by John R). Anyway all a long circuitous way of saying I will look for myself over the next few weeks at the issues you have raised.
