The occupying Turkish state and allied mercenaries have been attacking the Tishrin Dam for 38 days. Located in the Manbij region, Tishrin Dam is 115 kilometres from Aleppo province and 80 kilometres from the Turkish border. The dam, which is of vital importance as a source of electricity generation, has been under intensive attack for weeks and its service capacity has been reduced to a minimum. The attacks by the occupation forces have all been repelled by the fighters of the YPG (People’s Defense Units), YPJ (Women’s Defense Units) and SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces).
