Have to disagree. First, what strategy? We should recall the fact that the IDF general command questioned, not the strategy, but if there even was a strategy. Secondly to conclude that ethnic cleansing, genocide, and Zionist settlement has been set back after 15 months of indiscriminate assaults, displacements, expulsions, and expansion of Israeli control over parts of Syria and Lebanon is more than cognitive dissonance. It's basically nuts. I apologize for the abrasive language. but nuts it is. As for destroying Hezbollah and Hamas--we have no idea what remain of those two, but it's an understatement to say they have both been substantially "degraded" and that's close enough for government work. There is always a moment, an event, when support for the struggled of an oppressed people, opposition to colonial expansion is forced to differentiate itself from those organizations that claim the authority of that struggle and oppoze, freeze, suppress the transformation of conflict into one of class struggle that embraces actions, tactics, and strategy that advances class struggle through a revolutionary program.
