I quoted Lenin on Trotsky; Gandall asserts without evidence. He also tries to 
sweep away Lenin before WW One. He cannot look a material reason why the 
Bolsheviks approved Trotsky's membership in 1917: every possible force had to 
be assembled to help October succeed. We can as well judge that Lenin knew this 
and kept silent on some things, as to conjure up mutual "deep respect."

The quotes from Lenin about factionalism by Trotsky are obviously relevant in a 
thread that has discussed democratic centralism.
