A comparison is between a party (not adequately defined) and a clearly demented serially convicted felon is a question of apples and orange makeup.
I think developments in recent years call for a more nuanced understanding of genuinely left campaigns within the Democratic party. That's an interesting question. However, i honestly see nothing new about the Democratic party as such that merits a reconsideration of its generally Nixonized Reaganite-Bush-compliant and Trump-submissive record.
