Regardless of where one attributes responsibility, the Ukrainian masses themselves now overwhelmingly want a negoiated end to the war. According to the poll, only 29% of Ukrainians wanted to fight until “final victory”, ie. the expulsion of all Russian forces from the Donbas and Crimea. The poll was done six months ago and the spread has undoubtedly widened even more.
