The Ukrainians are no doubt more worried about their own survival than making purely symbolic statements of support that could undermine their supply of munitions. Similarly, haven't the Palestinians, on the whole, been silent on the question of the Iranian regime's repression of its own population? I know there are exceptions in the Palestinian movement, but I think your expectations of statements of solidarity are unrealistic for populations that are under the gun.
