i cannot believe i am reading this from a marxist group.  the main reason i havent left this listserv is to see what kind of wild and unique discussions happen here, many of which never ever happen in the real life organizing spaces i am a part of.  i was invited here to tell the story of the umass gaza solidarity encampment, and 2 years later this is the debate!  i dont understand how so much class essentialism and also now race/religious essentialism is happening here in a so-called marxism group.   On Aug 11, 2026, at 11:16 AM, Kristin Bayrd via groups.io <referee_02_wolves=icloud....@groups.io> wrote:  “Racism” and “Islamophobia” are not a Marxist analysis.  If there was a way to approach this problem using a class analysis, I would love to hear it.
