Hi David: I will be amplifying all this fairly soon (I hope) as I had said in the introduction. For now, I am not " blaming " as you say - Bukharin for this periodisation - I am saying that the common usage of the term is accompanied by an equation of the term(s) "3rd Period" and "social-fascism" with Stalin is incorrect. The policies that flowed out of that labelling, were also incorrect, and sectarian. Again, I will follow the history, but I am doubting that this was from Stalin's alleged "control" of the Comintern. At the moment that is my view. If blame is to be attached, which it should be - I am of the current belief that it would be to Dmitry Manuilsky and Otto Kuusinen. I am exploring this, and more time for fuller details. H
