John Edmundson writes that this story is not relevant to this list. It is totally relevant. The overwhelming majority of the pro-Palestine crowd, along with the sectarian left, take great pride in dismissing the NY Times and the rest of the bourgeois media as "Zionist" or "capitalist propaganda". They say this media "all lie". What lies behind this thinking (if you want to dignify it with that word) is that we have to "oppose" all the capitalist institutions that are based on bourgeois democracy. How many, for example, even took notice of Trump's ban of CNN, MSNow, and Axios from the White House? "Who cares? This is just one wing of the capitalist class fighting another wing." What silly narrow-minded nonsense. There's a reason why Trump said he prefers the CCP media. He probably prefers the Russian media too.
