The bug I mentioned in this thread is a bug in Perl which can be triggered 
by the use of nested component with content calls.

The other bug is a bug in Mason that causes objects to not be destroyed 
until the end of a request, instead of when they go out of scope in a 
component. This will be fixed in the next release (1.34), which I will 
make very soon (this week).
