Hello all, I am wondering if I can use the following setup to provide
access to the other computers on my network:

-------------
|cable modem|
-------------
 |
 |
 |
+---+ +----------------+
|HUB| +-----|other computer#1|
+---+ | +----------------+
| | | |
| | +-------+ +----------------+
| +----------------|other computer#2|
| +----------------+
+---------------+
| Sparc 10 |
| Linux 2.2.9 |
| ipmasq network|
| gateway |
+---------------+

Each machine has only one Network controler. Aswell I am on the @home
network. When I try to use IP addresses from the list of the supposedly
free IP address for intranets for the other computers in the
diagram, They say boot up saying there is an ip address conflic with
hardware address XX:XX:XX:XX:XX. If I assign a different IP address, I
get a difference hardware address. I have tried 10.0.0.2, 10.0.0.3,
192.168.0.2, and 192.168.0.3.

Can anybody tell my setup will work and how I could go about it?
