Hello everyone. I am newbie to the list, and let me
preface the question by letting everyone know that I
have read the HOW-TO's and the posts on the list
before sending this.

Here is my dillema: I am running RH6.2, ip_forwarding
enabled, which is dialed up to Earthlink over ppp0 (I
have an internal and p-to-p address. I have 2 clients
(win98 and linux) with IP's on a 198.168.1.x network.

Looks like ipmasq is working (from the linux client
not Win98), but it is EXTREMELY slow. Here is a
traceroute from the linux client to metalab.unc:

[chrisc@everest chrisc]$ /usr/sbin/traceroute
152.2.254.81
traceroute to 152.2.254.81 (152.2.254.81), 30 hops

So, in other words, how do I speed this up a little so
that the timeouts don't happen from the windows box
and performance is better?

Thanks in advance.
Chris
