/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! /* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */ Hello: I'm having an issue with using FTP through an IP Masq box with ip_masq_ftp installed from Win2K boxes. I can make the initial connection to an FTP server without any problem, but when I try to download anything, 90% of the time the FTP client does not give the prompt back right after the last of the data is received. A command line client like what MS includes in Win2K, usually gets the prompt back in about 60 seconds. Graphical FTP clients just hang permanently. This happens in or out of passive mode, but not on the firewall box itself. It's as if the ftp-data connection to the client isn't being shut off by the firewall when the FTP server closes the connection for it's end. Does anyone have a clue stick for me? --Christopher _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
