I am running Slackware 7 on my firewall and was curious as to whether or not
someone could help me get this thing working. I used to run an ftp server on
the inside of the network just fine and I figured out how to open up the
ports to allow incoming traffic to that internal machine...As I said, that
was a while ago, I havent done that in a good long while and cannot remember
what to do to get ipchains/ipmasqadm to allow me to get traffic routed to an
internal machine.

I have recently purchased this Microsoft Gamevoice thing...Some friends had
it for playing quake, so I figured I would give it a rip...it's kind of
neat, but since I have reinstated my Slackware firewall, I can no longer use
it. hrm...here is the info microsoft had available for this device and its
NAT setup:

Ports Required For DirectPlay and Game Voice
--------------------------------------------
TCP Port 47624 (inbound and outbound)
TCP Ports 2300-2400 (all ports in this series, inbound and outbound)
UDP Ports 2300-2400 (all ports in this series, inbound and outbound)

Note: Some NATs do not distinguish between UDP and TCP ports. In this case,
enabling IP traffic on ports 2300-2400 and 47624 should be sufficient.

Ports Required For MSN Messenger
--------------------------------
TCP Port 1863.

If more information is needed to help me do this, this information came
from: http://www.gamevoice.com/Support/GV_Support/NATProxy.asp

I am running slackware 7 -- ipchains and ipmasqadm

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
